The Professor’s Bookshelf – the Book of Wonder and more.
This month we published The Book of Wonder and the Last Book of WonderIllustrated. Combining both books into one volume gives readers best value, and after all, the two story collections belong together.
Written by Lord Dunsany, one of the earliest writers in the fantasy genre, these books are exquisitely illustrated by Sidney Sime.
Our launch of The Story of King Arthur and his Knights followed hard on Lord Dunsany’s heels. It is another of Tolkien’s inspirations. Additionally, the new edition of the classic Grimms’ Fairy Tales – beloved by J.R.R. Tolkien – hits the bookshelves this month, complete with beautiful, intricate illustrations by renowned artist Walter Crane. It completes our collectable 10-volume set of illustrated books from ‘The Professor’s Bookshelf‘.
