Margaret Thornton

Born in 1921, Margaret Thornton was a gifted poet and writer, who loved the arts and also dabbled in painting. Her life was catastrophically changed in 1930 when her father was killed in an airship crash.
Despite being traumatised for life, she forged a career and raised a family. Her love of nature and words shines through in these beautifully illustrated books of poems, which double as handy address books and birthday-date books.
Margaret’s early life is detailed in the biography of her father, the Valiant Heart Trilogy, Book #1 “Airship of Dreams“.
